Created by an ATPL student, for ATPL students
ATPL recall packs that helped me prepare for the exams.
I recently completed my EASA ATPL exams with an average score of 96%. These are the personal recall and briefing packs I created to help me retrieve and apply what I had learned.
They are not a shortcut or a replacement for the syllabus. They are simply what worked for me, shared in the spirit of good airmanship.

Section 01
Why I’m sharing them
When I posted about completing the ATPL exams, a lot of people asked about my study technique and whether I would share the briefing packs.
I originally created these packs because I found that reading and recognising information was not the same as being able to recall and apply it. The packs helped me revisit the most important concepts in a concise, structured format.
I'm making them available here for anyone who might find them useful. I cannot promise that my approach will suit everyone, but it worked well for me.

Section 03
How I used the packs
- Step 01
Learn
Work through the approved course material and classes first.
- Step 02
Build understanding
Focus on why the answer is correct, not just recognising it.
- Step 03
Recall/Briefing Pack
Review the briefing packs to actively retrieve key ideas, relationships and formulas.
- Step 04
Practice
Use questions to expose gaps and identify weak areas.
The packs were the recall layer of my study process—not a replacement for learning the underlying material.
